About Me
My SCUBA journey all began in the chilly waters of a Michigan pond over 10 years ago. Since then I have dove in over 20 different countries, became a SCUBA instructor (7 years ago!), and taught nearly 400 people.
A little over a year ago, I took a break from teaching to move from one island to another and to further my career as a marine biologist. However, the itch to teach never went away and after some encouragement from previous students, I jumped back into teaching as an independent instructor. Everyday, I continue to find new ways to merge both of my worlds - marine conservation and SCUBA instruction. I love to share my experiences and knowledge of SCUBA and everything under the sea. Reach out to learn more or, better yet, come take a dive with me!

"I took my Rescue course with Kristen, it was informative, realistic and super fun. Kristen created scenarios which required us to really apply the skills we learned and because of that if feel more confident in any dive scenario."
Robyn Mast

"I have always wanted to get dive certified, however, the timing never worked out! Kristen was able to work around my schedule to teach me both Open Water and then my Advanced. She goes above and beyond course standards with topics about ocean conservation."
Ren Weinstock

"Kristen is an amazing instructor and is super passionate about diving. For any experience level, Open Water to Rescue, Kristen makes you feel comfortable and confident about diving after her course. I have used the skills she taught me already!"
